Kristen R: Wordless Wednesday

Tuesday was a long day. Here’s the gist:

What did you do? I know you’ve earned some bragging rights. Share!

2013 mileage to date. About blow by my Jan. total. Don't blink!

2013 mileage to date? I’m about blow by my January total. Don’t blink!

And here’s my running log. I’m three miles away from blowing by my January total — and I’ll do that tonight when I tackle a four-miler.

Today, this is fun. Long day? Yes. But the running and milestones are all mine.

And they are fun.

Gotta run!

Awesome! I feel like I should post a picture of the candy wrapper I just threw away and be shamed publicly. Before judging though, know it’s the first I’ve had in a while, and I threw away half of it because I just needed a little sweetness, not the whole thing. Progress!

Nice time! I had a great run yesterday too, I felt like lightening (for me:). I wanted to pass something on. I spoke to my friend Jill today and she has been reading the blog rather frequently. You have been keeping her on her gym routine which is something she has struggled with since having her two boys. You are inspiring greatness all over the place!

You are always like lightening! Glad you had a good run, too. I’m tired tonight but going to try and get 4 miles in.

Thanks for sharing that about Jill! Go, Jill! It’s hard to do this, esp with kids. We are tough, mamas. Glad to learn of a new one!

YES it did. I was dragging and felt sluggish, but did it. I have a short run planned tonight which i consider a “rest” day. Do you do that? Have you set a minimum distance? I have found that on a really busy day, I can at least get that minimum in. Although now that I’m following a training plan, I’m holding myself accountable to that plan.

Well done again, I have set myself a min of 5km everyday but need to avg 8.2km aday so have to do some long runs. My loose plan is Mon 8.5km, Tues 8.5km, Wed 8.5km, Thurs 8.5km Fri 18km/21km (long run) Sat 5km (rest day) Sun 6.5km. I do have a little trick though which gives you a day off I run in the morning 5am Mon-thurs then leave my Fri run until 5pm which gives me a 36hour break…. sneaky lol.
