About our blog:
Making It Daily is a shared blog. In 2013, Claire, KHP and Kristen R. launched this blog as a way to track ourselves as we tackled three different 365 projects:
Claire: Wrote every day
KHP: Made art every day
Kristen R: Ran every day
We did these things every day for one full year. And now, we use this blog as a way to stay connected to another.
Although we still each carve out a little time every week to do these things, we take turns posting occasionally. We're busy working moms, partners, runners, writers, artists and more -- just trying to make it daily.
Got a passion? Join us in making it daily.

Caveat: I had big plans for this post after reading Kristen’s last post and feeling all kinds of connection to her and inspired to write about Free’s latest developments. Currently, however, it is 10pm, and I have just put Free … Continue reading
I feel like I’ve been witness to several break ups lately. They are mostly insignificant, mind you but still, I owe them some acknowledgement. The first break up — which I have outwardly chosen to downplay — is that my … Continue reading
A few weeks ago I posted on my companies Facebook page that I would like to shoot an old rustic barn for my portfolio. I explained that I wanted a barn that was falling apart and covered in vines. I … Continue reading
On Friday night, Newman and I went to see my friend Miranda perform. I had bought the tickets ages ago, when they first went on sale, and it was the first date that Newman added to the calendar of his … Continue reading
