About our blog:
Making It Daily is a shared blog. In 2013, Claire, KHP and Kristen R. launched this blog as a way to track ourselves as we tackled three different 365 projects:
Claire: Wrote every day
KHP: Made art every day
Kristen R: Ran every day
We did these things every day for one full year. And now, we use this blog as a way to stay connected to another.
Although we still each carve out a little time every week to do these things, we take turns posting occasionally. We're busy working moms, partners, runners, writers, artists and more -- just trying to make it daily.
Got a passion? Join us in making it daily.

I cannot believe the last month of 2013 has arrived. I keep saying to myself, “Finally, it’s here,” while also thinking, “December is here already?” It’s a strange, conflicting feeling. Never have I recorded pieces of my life in regular snippets as … Continue reading
This week feels very strange, a new routine, and thankfully a slower schedule. With the end of the soccer season and my afternoons free, I find myself getting caught up on some work, I am sleeping a bit more and … Continue reading
Another busy week in my house, but I’m juggling the running — mostly. I had to cut Tuesday’s speed work short. My 7-year-old had to test for her next tae kwon do belt, so I took her that evening and … Continue reading
It’s Sunday night and another weekend is coming to a close. Everything about this weekend felt like summertime to me: The carefree days; light eats; short-lived thunderstorms; mosquitos; sticky, sweaty runs; bike rides and sprinklers. What’s most notable about this … Continue reading
