About our blog:
Making It Daily is a shared blog. In 2013, Claire, KHP and Kristen R. launched this blog as a way to track ourselves as we tackled three different 365 projects:
Claire: Wrote every day
KHP: Made art every day
Kristen R: Ran every dayWe did these things every day for one full year. And now, we use this blog as a way to stay connected to another.
Although we still each carve out a little time every week to do these things, we take turns posting occasionally. We're busy working moms, partners, runners, writers, artists and more -- just trying to make it daily.
Got a passion? Join us in making it daily.

Claire: Symbolism, Part 1
When I teach symbol analysis in my classes, my technique is to have students draw a T chart and list the literal details (using actual quotations) an author uses to describe an object on one side of the chart, then … Continue reading

Claire: Back to Work Survival Guide for Teachers
I’ve been officially back to work for a week now (three of those days were spent with students), and it’s safe to say that a) I’m in it, and b) I am surviving it. How is this possible, you might … Continue reading
